Loving that quilt.

Your home is always so warm and cozy but with that sun it's looking honey-dipped! :)

I just got back from a walk and it was so very lovely to have the sun shining (live in Portland too).

@TracyMB: I was thinking the exact same thing. "honey-dipped"!

I get SOO happy for you when it's sunny there! It's grey here today--I think LA and Portland must be diametrically opposed weather-wise 100%. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xoxo jolie

oh enjoy it!! have a great weekend! xo love from muskoka...

You're thankful for the sun and here in Texas I'm thankful for the unusual June rains we have been getting. It's a great summer so far. Enjoy your weekend!

Dear Alicia,

I just want to say, that I am loving your blog and that I am reading it for a very long time. I love your style and your house is sooooo nice.

Sally from Germany :-)

here in Seattle too! yep, bring it!

Alicia... whatever the weather, you bring light into my days. Enjoy the sun.

I love your photos. Rain or shine, they make me smile.

have a lovely weekend :O)

So glad the sun is shining there for you today and hopefully all weekend! You have inspired me to get back to my sewing and quilting. Love your quilt!

Good for you - and as always, wonderful pics! :-)

glad to see it finally arrived...hope it lasts for you!
enjoy the rays

So happy for your sunshine. We have sunshine all the time in the desert, which is a good thing for low-serotonin brains, but then, look at all the beauty that comes with your rain. Ah, this imperfect life! **happy Friday** Deborah

yay for you. send it back to omaha. we had quite the downpour all night. it's gloomy today, but your photographs are a bright spot in the day. thank you, alicia

Your home looks so bright and comfortable. Lovely.

Returned home to Portland after a week in sunny central and northern California - glad the sun decided to hitch a ride home with us!

Hasn't it been glorious..yesterday and today, and tomorrow is supposed to be beautifully light and sunny here in wet western Oregon. Glory On!

Such beautiful photography - as always! I love how you capture the perfect light and tone for an early-summer afternoon :-) I was just listening to the new Brandi Carlile album and cruising through your most recent posts and I love how it all fit together. Definitely helped me escape my current confines (err...work :-P) for a bit!

Oh, and I just did a blog post about some blogs I've been loving/inspired by lately, and I included yours. The link is here, if you're interested: http://wp.me/pcdoH-Ai

Have an awesome weekend!

I am so happy for you that you have some sun! See, just keep the sandals on and the sun will come eventually... When it did, you were ready ; )

I am so happy that you have sun again. For me, reading your posts and looking at your photographs brings sunshine into my day no matter what the weather is outside. Thank you for the blog. Have a great weekend.

Enjoy! Take your quilting out on into that amazing backyard of yours.
