We are home safe and sound now. It was such a privilege to travel across this magnificent country of ours last week. I took these photos of the sunrise somewhere in eastern Washington, I think, on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Thank you again so very, very much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers these past few weeks! I can't tell you how touched we were by all of the love and support we felt as we went through each of these (long!) days.
In our absence, autumn arrived! It feels good to come home to cool weather and falling acorns. I'm spending a few days getting caught up on everything, and figuring out what to do with all of these glorious tomatoes. I also owe this sweet little corgi a week's worth of cuddles. Ahhh, it's good to be home. :-)

Beautiful, Enjoy yourself. Glad you and Andy made it home safely.
As always praying for the best.

Sunrises are the best, aren't they? Continuing to pray for all concerned :) If you run out of time, just quarter the tomatoes, freeze them free-flow, then use throughout the winter in soups, casseroles, sauces etc etc

Gorgeous!!! That's how I feel travelling in the motorhome; priviledged to see how beautiful this country is. You have some serious belly rubbing to do!

David Lebovitz had one of the best ideas we've tried for surplus tomatoes. It's part of his recipe for pizza but we just doubled the tomato portion and froze the results (after we ate a fourth of them like they were candy). http://www.davidlebovitz.com/2011/08/tomato-basil-pizza-recipe/#more-6588

You definitely owe the Clover Meadow some cuddle time. Everyday that I pulled up your blog, I kept seeing the picture of Clover on the bed. Oh, how much you must have been missed. Best wishe's for what lies ahead. You and Andy truly deserve a bundle of joy.
