What a glorious weekend! Memories made.

elena gold

wow- perfect weekend! I love those spots on mississippi too- though my favorite there is por que no. I think you wrote once you loved calamari. Have you tried their calamari tacos? sooooo good.

Erica

Salted Ice Cream Sandwich??! It sounds like heaven!!!

patty

Well, who wouldn't want to show off their beautiful minimalist black and white fur against all the color stripes?

jooles

sounds like the perfect weekend, especailly those waffles...Mmmm...
i spent most of mine planting too, i'm just so excited it's spring...at last!

Ellen

Thanks for the lovely shots of the PNW spring, which makes me homesick but in a good way.

Thanks too for changing the banner. There was something in the soup shot that always made me do a double take because it looked like a tooth :/

kelly nolan

If I was there when you put that crocheted blanket on the floor, I would have laid on it too! Very cute!

Wallace

This post makes me feel like moving, immediately, to Oregon.

Natalie VV

What Wallace says... so true. The world looks dreamy and good through your lens, Alicia. Thank you for sharing your reflections and pictures... it's a tonic for my frazzled days.

Elizabeth

I am so surprised to see spring all around in your pictures, great reminder that winter always ends and new life abounds! Your weekend looks like it was wonderful.

Jessie Heninger

Sounds like a perfect weekend. Mine was pretty relaxing as well though it's still a bit cold. Sunny though and I did take some pics of my version of the "Farm Time" Quilt from an embroidery companion. It is the first quilt I've ever made and your directions were wonderful; Thank you. Pics at www.jessies-confessions.blogspot.com if any one is interested.

Sara

Thanks for sharing your perfect weekend! Mine was so hectic and stressful that it is so nice to visit Posie today!!!

wasabi honey bee

What a wonderfully colorful weekend!!! The pictures are so lovely and I might steal a bite of that waffle : )

Jenny

I saw those baby chicks when I came to visit!! I spent an entire afternoon in the Mississippi. Florida is dark and rainy today, and reminding me of some of my favorite things about Portland. :)

Kim

I have a blanket obsessed grandson. Everything that comes off my sewing machine or crochet hook is a blanket for him. I recently took up knitting. My instructor told me I had taken up a much too large project for my first one. Most people do a scarf. Me? A blue blanket for the grandson. It's how I roll!

Delilah

What a beautiful weekend you had. I love all of the pictures, the descriptions, all of it!

Amy Kortuem

WOW! What a cool weekend you had. I'm jealous. I've had what I swear is the plague for going on 8 weeks now, and all I could manage this weekend (between coughing fits that threw my back out) was to move from the couch to the bed.

Woo-hoo.

(Now I'm hungry for waffles)

Carol

Her expression really is saying "please, please can I have this one?" So sweet.
Fantastic weekend, thank you for sharing it. I love hellebores (and snowdrops, crocuses, daffs, tulips.......... actually most plants!)

sharon from farm and fru fru

that is hi.lar.i.ous...and i think it must be a corgi thing...fifi does it with sofa pillows...the minute they hit the floor (boys) she goes over and drapes herself across one or more and will not move....funny.

Kathy

Our standard poodle does the same thing with blankets. Our daughter has one of those fleece blankets with the fringe that's tied together and the dog keeps trying to steal it. I had to make him one of his own, which he completely ignores, of course. Silly dog.

OMG, blueberry cheesecake waffle. I need me one of those. Right now!

Nancy Cook

perfect weekend! love the photos especially the flowers which i am anxiously awaiting.

Jenn

what a lovely weekend! So jealous that you already planted stuff! We still have snow in NJ :( boo!
I just spent some time searching for a cheesecake pudding recipe (never heard of THAT!) to replicate these waffles. Pretty excited to try them!

greenrabbitdesigns

Sounds like a great weekend!
What a gorgeous little crochet helper you have. :)

I love when you go places that look delicious (like the Waffle Window) and I pine for it and then remember you are in Oregon so the location is actually go-able! YUM!

Monica

what a lovely and full and productive weekend!

LOVE that square too, but don't worry, I won't wrestle that cute doggy for it.
