What is the plant on the table? Is it real?

You did a great job on the sweater. How beautiful. Of course I would expect you to be a great knitter! Sadly I cannot continue to learn knitting as I have an arthritic finger which is very crooked. So crooked in fact that I have to stand sideways to scratch my nose else I would poke myself in the eye. Good news is I can still crochet. Love your rooms. Your guest is very lucky to stay there. Have fun!

Alicia, your sweater is beautiful! You inspire me to pull out a fair isle sweater I've been working on for far too long. . .

I have that pillowcase you've got in your guest room. It was my mother's in graduate school, and remains one of my favorites.
Your first attempt at fair isle is the bee's knees. Good job! Is it a sweater for you?

After seeing your lovely thrifted pillowcases I have gone on quite a search and purchased some fantastic smooth crisp lovelies for our bed!!

Firstly, long time lurker and not oft commenter, but secondly your sweater is lovely, and thirdly I didn't know you were an Andy (Roddick) fan!!! I'd have to say your insights were spot on about the match and oh dear God of all things holy I wanted him to win so bad! But, all in all, he showed everyone he still deserves to be out and about in the tennis greats. Plus, we got to see Pete, too!!! :)

all the photos are so beautiful. I especially love whatever your nightie is hanging on - is that wallpaper behind it? I need more information!!

My mama put me onto your blog, and I just love it.
Is that a Shabby Chic hydrangea pillow case I spy there? It looks like the ones on my bed.
