I love square patches too...can't wait to see your new method!

Kristi

I am intrigued by this new technique of which you speak...'cause you're right, I AM into that. 'Cause I am cool like that. :) :)

Karyn (French Charming)

You have me intrigued...a pillow cover in minutes, I'm staying tuned! I'm loving your hellity hell, shelf...I have several of those myself!

Dawn Sellers

Oh, don't tease us like that! I love little square patches too but just don't have the patience for sewing them all together. Can't wait to see this new technique.

hadley

Hellity hell! Hee hee!

I hope you have fun with the fam. <3

Jabba

Ohmigod. I'm totally emailing my husband the picture of your shelf - and pointing out that my fabric stash isn't this big (yet.)

Angela

Can't wait to learn the new method. Have fun with the family!

planetjune

Oh how cruel! I adore square patches too (the smaller the better) and now you're keeping us on tenterhooks?! I'm looking forward to reading about your magical technique!

Paula Munter

Brave soul...to post a picture like that. You could cover it with a nice square patch curtain. ;)

I can't wait to see your technique. I was wanting to use up some scraps and this looks like a great way!

Take care,
Paula

jessica

you're taunting us! Hurry and spill the secret! :-)

kristine hanson

I can't wait to hear about this new technique! Thank you for sharing your secrets. :) By the way, my family got me your lovely book for Mother's Day. It's so great!!!

Zita - Mlle Magpie

Oh, do tell, Alicia. I love square patches too!

Annie

No, no, no... tell us now!

Elizabeth

Thank you for showing your fabric shelves in the state that they are in sometimes blogs (especially yours) make the rest of us humans feel we are total slackers. Okay, well maybe I am, but it's refreshing to get a peep of another side of the perfectly composed shots on your blog (which I love dearly!!!)

Rosa

How dare you leave this newbie quilter hanging. Oh, I can't wait. I need to know and practice.

Have a great visit with the family!

Modern Crush

You may call it messy, but I still call it pretty!!

Emily

hee hee! it's the shelf of DOOM... dun dun dun...

Muriel

You have made me very curious!!!

Brin

Alicia,

Although I wouldn't know you from the crazy lady that sells balloon animals on the street near my bakery, I just love you. Or, you know, think you're impossibly cool. We share a love of pupps, square quilts, gardens, crochet and knitting, cooking, etc.

This is kinda why I'm writing. You see, I find I gravitate to the things you dig, too. I just ordered yet another book (the River Cottage Family Cookbook) upon your recommendation. After doing so, I took a peek at my Amazon order history. Then my fabric/yarn order history. Then my clothes order history. For the past two years. Suffice to say, because of my loyal readership of your blog, I have spent over $900 on things because, once you blog them, I am helpless to resist and must order them, stat. (This doesn't include your book and the other stuff I've bought from your shop. Wow.)

So. Okay. Point is: if you get a free sec this summer, could you please start an Alicia Anonymous Group for girls like me? A group with steps and stuff? My bank account, house, life and puppy would thank ya. ;)

Hope you have a wonderful summer! Warm regards from Texas...

Kelly

Oh, that was a tease! Fabric shelves are not supposed to look this way? ~Kelly

Jennie

I would love mess like that.

KellyA

That is quite a teaser. I am staying tuned. Also, looking at your shelf makes me feel less alone in my messy little world.:)
