What happy little daffodils. Happy spring!

Beautiful garden. I'd love to sit in your yard with a cup of Earl Grey and read my book (which I stole off your reading list: "Behind the Scenes at the Museum"...great recommendation!). I'm saving the daffodils to my desktop here at work so I have a glimpse of spring all day. It's still very grey and rainy here in Bellingham, WA. Thanks for the sneek peek of lovliness!

The photos of your daffodils made me smile... how beautiful. Andy did a wonderful job. :)

can't believe you're only just getting daffs now, here they're all on the way out!
Though this fact does make me jealous as they're very pretty, almost as much as the baby daffs that are just the most perfect size ever!

Jea-lous! No daffy-down-dillies here yet, but our neighbors' forsythia are in bloom. Generally you P-town people are a couple weeks ahead of us in terms of what's in bloom, so your photos give me hope :)

Dear Alicia, I am a known flower picker. Today I stopped at my secret stash location, a lot next to a farmer'f field where a house burned down. I came home with armfuls of yellow happiness. Last year my car got stuck in the field. When I called AAA and they asked if I was in a safe location, I replied, "Yes, if you don't count a suspicious looking heffer." Their reply, "Uh, Mam. AAA only covers roadside assistance, not a farmer's field!" My husband warns me every single Spring about my flower picking habit, but what can I say? A girl's got to have flowers! Elizabeth

What a lovely blog you have. Living in Portland I am ever discovering the amazing talent that seems to spring from here. Your writing is so adept and insightful, sharing the personal and conveying the communal experience with your readers. Such a delight.
I love all the daffodils and hyacinth that are showing off their blooms around town. We are about at the end of our Daphne bloom, what heavenly scent.
