So darn cute!
In Washington, DC, at the Smithsonian Zoo, one of the all-time favorite things to watch is the elephants playing with the pumpkins after Halloween. They toss them and smash them and fling them here and there. It's just the most fun thing to see.
Glad you have a chance to enjoy the snow.

Adorable, that Sam is quite the snow angel maker. Baby elephant... I want one and a puppy too.

SO cute! I love his little trunk feeling around in the snow!
I still think Clover's cuter, though!!!

hahahaha... cute.
My dog is horribly lazy and hates the cold (she even sleeps in longer than anyone else!!!) and will literally wait until absolutely necessary to go outside. This is adorable.

They're both the cutest dang things! Maybe Sam and Clover should have a playdate?

Funny - all kids love snow! We had more ice than snow so there has yet to be anything for the girls to play in, but they are ready and waiting.

Could there possibly be anything sweeter than a darling baby elly having it's first taste of snow?
Why yes... and her name is Clover Meadow Paulson :o)
I think I need to point out that apart from the undeniable cuteness factor, Clover & Sam have something else in common - extraordinarily large ears!

How absolutely smile loaded is that!
I am waiting for flannel lined jeans ordered online from a favorite eastern merchandiser...can't wait for them to get here...it is so cold out..the arctic freeze has long arms!
Clover girl is still the winner in my estimation!

While the elephant is cute it doesn't quite take the gold from your sweet puppy!! I love watching my own dog, Fox, play in the snow, too. He's so cute and playful and doesn't want to come back in.
By the way - I love your house picture at the top of you blog. I was inspired to make my own title pic. If you'd like to see it check out my blog. ;) Happy Holidays!!

Hi, a fellow Portlander here. At our house there is ICE.. You too? But I have been enjoying the snow. I just hate the problems it can cause. But is is beautiful... And like you it in some wierd way inspires me to cook and clean, what is up with that. Stay warm, I hope the ICE doesn't cause a problem with the electricty.
We here at Portland have a long history of elephants at out Zoo, this is one of the cuter ones. TTFN

Hey Alicia, cute video, snow elephants are indeed heartwarming.
Hey I read about these books on AT, I put some on hold at my library. They totally sound magical and like something you would enjoy.

Hi Alicia :) Just watched 60 Minutes show on CBS about the orphan baby Elephants and it reminded me of your cute video. I never knew elephants can be so endearing :)
