That's fantastic!!
I had a wacky dream this morning that I was teaching you & my best friend in Seattle how to make Banana Cream Pie, and it was like we were baking in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Kitchen. Please don't think that's weird, I bake in my dreams often (ha ha, see how I diverted that?). Anyway- when I woke up, my kitters was all cuddled under the blankets, with her little paw just barely touching me. Sweet kitty. Have a great weekend Alicia!
Yeah, aren't cats funny that way? They WILL have your attention, no matter what they have to trample, claw, bite, scratch, or otherwise destroy to get it.
Our cat Teagan likes when we're laying on our backs in bed, he'll come sit on our chests and rub on our faces :) He's our little face-monger.
I finally trained my kitty to lay beside me instead of one top of my head. I say trained, but I think she just got tired of sleeping there. What a cozy little space this is.
My cats are always sitting on the things I'm working on, my knitting, quilting, etc... Or they walk all over my keyboard, when I am working on something important, and I haven't saved my work yet...
Just curious, did you use a tripod to take this? I imagine not, but I feel like if my light was this low, it'd be all blurry. Such a pretty, glowy light.
Okay, this is kind of random but I am going to tell you anyway. I know how you are into sheets and bedding in general and I was at a Filene's Basement recently and they had really pretty floral Laura Ashley sheets that I really thought you would like. I don't know if you have Filene's in Portland but I thought I would let you know anyway. Have a good weekend!
Too funny! If my friend, Roxanne, went to bed without brushing the hairspray out of her hair, the cats, Freddie and Putty(Tat), would lick her hair all night. She said she would wake up to such a headache and cat slober all over her hair. Yuck!! :)
Oh my cats do the same thing. If I'm not paying them any attention, they will do whatever they have to to get it. Even if it means doing stuff they know they shouldn't, just to get bad attention. (Like scratching furniture.)
Our last cat used to lay on top of my daughter's head! I thought it was just her quirky thing but it sounds like she's not the only one! I miss having a cat around here!
Oh yes, isn't it the best when they stretch out on paw to you on your shoulder as if to say, "yes, you are mine mistress and I will keep you head warm at all costs."
Funny! I was in my bathroom last night, which is usually private enough that you can have the window open...But last night my neighbor's cat, "Joe", was up on another neighbor's roof, and he could see right into my bathroom...So much for privacy!...Katie
HAHAHAHA!! I've got one of those!

My dearly loved cat, Fidget, used to walk about on top my head in the middle of the night - when I was silly enough to let him sleep on my bed!

I had 3 hours of meowing this morning until we got up. Now all is quiet. Sigh!

Love it.
Paid you serious homage today. You deserve it. Hope you and the kitters/puppers/nurse crew have a relaxing weekend!

I love the warm lighting and the rosy patterns on the piled fabrics. Very inviting!

Akasha is want to sleep draped over my head like a Russian hat when the winter cool has set in! Makes rolling over during the night difficult!

Yes,it is not true that cats aren't as needy as dogs sometimes!
I had a cat that would lay across my neck like he was a scarf!
